At Sinclair Tractor, we pride ourselves on being the destination in Southeast Iowa for agricultural equipment, precision farming, agronomic decision support, NAPA parts and supplies. With thirteen John Deere dealerships, five NAPA parts locations and a Supply Store, we are looking for motivated and talented people to join our team.


PURPOSE:

Seeking a personable and highly motivated HR intern to support the HR manager in day-to-day administrative tasks and activities. If you’re ready to kickstart your career in Human Resources and build real-world experience with recruiting, payroll, employee development, and the coordination of HR policies and procedures, this is the internship for you!


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Post new positions, screen applications/resumes, and coordinate interviews
  • Collect and update our database with new hire and employee information
  • Maintain payroll data including leaves, working hours, and bank accounts
  • Proofread HR documents, help with special projects while maintaining high level of confidentiality
  • Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects

EXPERIENCE EDUCATION, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • High level of integrity with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience working cooperatively in a team environment
  • Predictable attendance and reliable transportation are a must

WORKING CONDITIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Office and workshop setting
  • Must be able to lift 50-pounds
  • Travel as needed
