ExactShot™
John Deere has developed ExactShot™ to help combat high liquid fertilizer prices with precise placement of liquid in-furrow fertilizer. The ExactShot™ system works in conjunction with the ExactEmerge™ planter with its brush belt technology to know exactly where the seed is located within the metering belt to deliver a precise dose of fertilizer directly to the kernel of seed in the furrow as the planter is traveling at up to 10 mph. This technology allows for the operator to select the length of dose of fertilizer that the seed will receive. Therefore, if you are planting at a rate of 32,000 seeds/A, which would equate to roughly 6 inches per seed, the ExactShot™ has the technology to only dose the seed and up to one inch on either side, therefore leaving effectively no fertilizer in remaining 4 inches of the furrow.“...we were able to achieve equivalent or higher yields by dosing the seed with either a slightly lower or equal amount of fertilizer...all while reducing the overall quantity of fertilizer used by more than 50 percent.” - Brent Pacha, Integrated Solutions Manager in reference to field trails conducted by Sinclair Tractor and John Deere.

Harvest Lab™ 3000 Manure Sensing

Control for up to 2 different attributes; whether that be total amount of nitrogen, total volume or a cap on phosphorus. FurrowVision™
With the introduction of FurrowVision™, you will have peace-of-mind that your planter is operating efficiently and accurately without ever leaving the cab. FurrowVision™ provides a live camera feed into the actual planter furrow streamed on a tablet inside your tractor cab. You can validate seed depth accuracy across planter sections and adjust row cleaners and downforce based on your observations. You can even slow, pause or review the feed as necessary.FurrowVision™ is currently available on a limited production schedule, however Sinclair Tractor will be conducting field trials for the 2024 season.
