Shorter Wait Times is the Goal for New Customer Support Line
Last fall, Sinclair Tractor launched a Technology Support Line, providing customers with a dedicated team of support personnel ready to answer all questions related to the technology inside the cab of their equipment. We are now rolling out that same concept with our Customer Support Line for Parts and Service calls.
“Someone will always be ready to take your call or text and get you the help you need,” says Rebecca Thomas, Service Coordinator in Sigourney, “whether you need a part or a service technician. Sometimes, when a location is in the trenches of busy season, it can be harder to get a tech scheduled for your repair needs. However, with this new system, we can dispatch techs from other locations to get you taken care of as quickly as possible. We can truly help anyone from anywhere!”
This concept also works for getting you the part you need. Our Sinclair Tractor parts professionals can work with you to find the part you need, and if necessary, they can transfer it to your preferred location and tell you when it will be available for pickup. “I took a call from a Fairfield customer and within 3 minutes I had the part located, a transfer request put in, and let the customer know it would be available for pickup in Fairfield by 10 am the next day”, states Aric Rockhold, Durant Parts Manager. “This saved the customer time by avoiding the wait for a return call from the Fairfield parts counter, when they were busy helping another customer.”
“While we understand that this is a change for our customers, and our Aftermarket teams, we are confident that in the long run our customers will see the benefits of utilizing the larger Sinclair Tractor team verses working solely with a single location”, says Jeff Graff, Technology Manager. “Some of our employees answering the Customer Support Line have 20+ years of John Deere Parts or Service experience and are able to provide assistance to customers 75 miles away just as easy as if they were standing across the counter from them. Sinclair Tractor has always been a technology leader in the cab and now we are using the latest in available technology to make our customer’s experience with our Aftermarket teams more efficient. The Customer Support Line launched about two weeks ago and initial feedback has been very positive.”
